DeSci Appreciation NFT
During ETH Amsterdam 2022, two friends of mine organized DeSci Amsterdam – the first Decentralized Science conference, bringing together people working in the then-nascent field of desci.
To show appreciation for their effort, I created an NFT bouquet with appreciation messages from other attendees.
The project consisted of a smart contract for an Appreciation NFT:
Attendees left their name, location and an appreciation messages when mining the NFT. The two organizers were the recipients and could access these messages via their Ethereum address.
A front end was also created to make viewing those messages more accessible. About 20 messages were collected.
